Delivery

Every order is sent to the customer directly by the brilliant farmers/producers - who often harvest their foods freshly to order. If a customer orders produce from more than one food producer, they will receive more than one delivery, exciting stuff!

 

How it works

The farmer/producer specifies their own delivery options, they are encouraged to make sure their delivery prices are fair and reasonable. Their delivery options and charges can be seen on their product details pages, in your basket and also confirmed before checkout.

Verification of your order - order prepared/harvested -  Packaged - Delivered by national courier or the happy farmer themselves!

As soon as the items have been dispatched the customer will receive confirmation that the delivery is on its way. Customers can also get in touch with the producer directly if they have any questions (look for "Contact Seller"). For instance - the customer wants to arrange a delivery day sometime in the future. Christmas Turkeys, or a time when the customer knows they will be there for the delivery. If a customer would like more help, they should get in touch with Harvest Bundle.

 * All delivery options are for UK deliveries only. International delivery is not currently available. Producers confirm on their product pages.

The more items a customer orders from any one food maker, it's often the more economical the delivery charges will be, particularly with most makers offering free standard delivery above certain order values.

Can I choose the time of delivery?

You should receive a delivery notification via text or email on the day of your delivery with a one-hour time slot. We allow for delivery instructions if you’re not home when we are due to deliver. So please specify when placing an order - where your safe place is.

Benefits of DPD delivery

Generally DPD is the courier of choice (others like APC are used). On the morning of delivery, you’ll receive a text or email notification with a one-hour delivery slot. This notification will also have the tracking number for your reference.

Do I have to be home to receive my delivery? 

The courier service  is able to leave your box in a safe place as specified by you under ‘Add a note to your order’ in your Harvest Bundle Basket. As it is perishable goods, it is not possible to re-direct a box once it is with the courier service.

How is the food packaged? How does the produce stay chilled and fresh?

Your orders are delivered in temperature-controlled boxes with ice packs which keep your food chilled for up to 36 hours.

Is there anywhere in the UK you can’t deliver? 

Unfortunately, the following postcodes are currently not covered by couriers for next day delivery so there is no guarantee it will arrive fresh. (* Next Day Parcel from DPD can take two days in remote areas, including the Scottish Highlands, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and some other off-shore islands.)

Late delivery

Very occasionally, unavoidable factors can delay a delivery (bad weather or postal strikes, for example). We do ask for customer patience if this happens – the producer will be doing their very best to sort it out.

If the items haven't arrived within the delivery timescales and the customer hasn’t heard from the producer, something may have gone wrong. Customers are encouraged to get in touch with the producer to let them know. Once they have done this, and if they would still like some more help, they should get in touch with us – we would be very happy to help.

What you can’t send back

Unfortunately, some items are non-returnable: 

Perishable products (most of the goods sold on this site unfortunately, meat/veg etc.)

Complaints

Harvest Bundle sellers are committed to making sure that you are thrilled with your purchase of any product. Therefore, if you aren't satisfied for any reason with a non-returnable product do still contact the seller to let them know. In particular if the item has been damaged, or if they haven't sent what you ordered.
